Sonoco Announces Latest Addition to New EnviroFlex Packaging Solutions
It comes with How2Recycle Store Drop-Off label, which will allow consumers to drop off the same at local retail stores for recycling along with grocery bags.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The world’s leading diversified global packaging solutions provider Sonoco announced major addition to its sustainable packaging solutions portfolio. The company today announced the introduction of new EnviroFlex PE recyclable polyethylene flexible packaging, designed to pack a variety of retail products. It comes with How2Recycle Store Drop-Off label, which will allow consumers to drop off the same at local retail stores for recycling along with grocery bags.
According to company press release, EnviroFlex PE will be suitable for packaging variety of products including cookies and crackers, confections, dry/dehydrated foods, sweet and savory snacks, pet food and treats and personal care items to name a few. It is available in a range of barrier options and premade pouches. Furthermore, it is capable of incorporating zipper closures.

Rodger Fuller, Senior Vice President, Global Consumer Packaging, Display & Packaging and Protective Solutions, Sonoco stated that the company is extremely pleased to introduce EnviroFlex PE as the latest addition to its diverse portfolio of EnviroSense packaging options. It is a big step forward in its effort to meet the demand for easily recyclable sustainable flexible packaging, Fuller added.
