19th July, 2019: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Witnessed Notable Surge on Index
#1 Copper Wire and Tubing saw price rise of CNY 1,100 per MT.
BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese aluminum scrap prices surged higher on ScrapMonster Price Index as on July 19th, Friday. Stainless Steel, Brass, Bronze and Copper Scrap prices too were up from the previous day. Meantime, Steel scrap prices held steady on Index.
Copper Scrap Prices
The #1 Copper Bare Bright prices were up by CNY 1,100 per MT.
#1 Copper Wire and Tubing saw price rise of CNY 1,100 per MT.
The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also increased by CNY 1,100 per MT.
#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices were up by CNY 500 per MT over the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery too surged higher by CNY 200 per MT when compared with the day before.
Copper Transformer Cu Yokes prices were up by CNY 100 per MT each.
Cu/Al Radiator and Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices inched higher by CNY 200 per MT and CNY 100 per MT respectively on Index.
Heater Cores were up by CNY 300 per MT on Friday, July 19th.
Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices edged higher by CNY 50 per MT each over the previous day.
Aluminum Scrap Prices
6063 Extrusions witnessed a rise of CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.
Aluminum Ingots prices too were up by CNY 50 per MT.
Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers witnessed no change on Index.
E.C Aluminum Wire, Old Cast and Old Sheet prices jumped higher by CNY 50 per MT each on June 19th, 2019.
UBC and Zorba 90% NF prices recorded no change in prices when compared with the previous day.
Steel Scrap Prices
#1 HMS prices held steady on 19th June, 2019.
Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.
Stainless Steel Scrap Prices
201 SS prices climbed higher by CNY 100 per MT.
304 SS Solid prices too increased by CNY 150 per MT over the previous day.
The price of 304 SS Turning witnessed a rise of CNY 150 per MT.
309 SS scrap prices remained unchanged on Index.
310 SS prices rose by CNY 300 per MT.
316 SS Solid scrap prices edged higher by CNY 200 per MT over the day on July 19th.
Shred SS prices increased by CNY 150 per MT.
Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices
The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China recorded modest rise from the previous day.
Brass Radiator scrap prices saw rise of CNY 200 per MT on June 19th, 2019.
Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too were up by CNY 250 per MT each.
