7th March, 2019: Scrap Gold Prices Surged, Platinum and Silver Slumped on Index
In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices went higher by $ 1.16 per Oz.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked edged higher marginally on Thursday, 7th March, 2019 on the ScrapMonster Price Index. However, the prices of Platinum and Silver scrap fell over the day.
In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices went higher by $ 1.16 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap also went higher by $ 1.49 per Oz and $ 1.82 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap prices increased marginally by $ 0.74 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed decline of $ 8.75 per Oz to reach $ 603.71 per Oz. Silver scrap prices too declined marginally by $0.02 per Lb.
In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices went higher by $ 1.10 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap too went up by $ 1.41 and $ 1.72 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also increased by $ 0.71 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed sharp decline of $ 8.75 per Oz to reach $ 603.71 per Oz. Silver scrap prices edged down slightly by $0.01 per Oz.
