North American copper scrap prices see modest recovery on Index
The North American copper scrap prices witnessed marginal uptick October 30th Wednesday
MONTREAL (Scrap Monster) : The North American copper scrap prices witnessed marginal uptick October 30th Wednesday on ScrapMonster Price Index.
Alternator prices remained unchanged. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing increased by $0.04 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also up by $0.04 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright also went higher by $ 0.04 per Lb to reach $3.26 per Lb.
The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery witnessed an up move of $0.02 per Lb. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices rose a tad by $0.01per Lb from the previous day. #3 Copper-Light copper prices went higher by $0.03 per Lb. Copper Radiator prices also inched higher by $0.02 per Lb.
The prices of Copper Transformer Scrap, Cu/Al Radiator Ends and Cu Yokes remained unchanged.
Cu/Al Radiators/Fe, Harness Wire 35% Recovery and Heater Cores prices went higher by $0.01 per Lb.
An increase of $ 0.02 was seen in Cu/Al Radiators prices.
The prices of Romex Wire were up by $0.02 per Lb each.
Scrap Electric Motors, Sealed units, Starters and Xmas lights saw no daily variation in prices on October 30th.
