SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Kaiser Aluminum Corporation reported record second-quarter 2026 financial results, supported by robust demand across key end markets, stronger aluminum pricing, and improving aerospace activity. The company delivered significant year-over-year growth in sales and profitability. Also, it raised its full-year 2026 earnings outlook.

During the quarter, net sales climbed to $1.26 billion, up from $823 million in the same period last year. Adjusted earnings per diluted share surged to $5.53, significantly higher than $1.21 a year earlier. The company attributed the strong performance to higher-value product sales, favorable pricing, and continued operational discipline.

Kaiser Aluminum recorded net income of $97 million, while adjusted net income reached $94 million. Adjusted EBITDA rose to $166 million, resulting in an adjusted EBITDA margin of 38.1%. Also, Second-quarter shipments increased 6% year over year to 306 million pounds.

During the first half of 2026, adjusted EBITDA totaled $295 million. Kaiser Aluminum further strengthened its balance sheet, reducing its net debt leverage ratio to 2.1 times from 3.4 times at the end of 2025. Total available liquidity stood at $628 million as of June 30, said a company news release.

Reflecting its strong first-half performance, the company raised its adjusted EBITDA growth forecast to 45% to 55%.
