City of West Palm Beach to Distribute Free Plastic Recycling Bins to Residents

The initiative supports the City’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship by encouraging residents to properly separate recyclable materials and reduce waste sent to landfills.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The City of West Palm Beach Public Works Department is making it easier for residents to recycle by distributing 500 free 35-gallon recycling bins designated for plastic materials. The bins will be available to City residents on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
The initiative supports the City’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship by encouraging residents to properly separate recyclable materials and reduce waste sent to landfills.
“Providing residents with the tools they need to recycle is a simple but impactful way to support a cleaner, greener West Palm Beach,” said Calvin Williams, Solid Waste Superintendent. “Every household that participates in recycling helps conserve resources, reduce waste, and protect our environment for future generations.”
Distribution Details
Item: 35-Gallon Plastic Recycling Bin
Quantity Available: 500 bins (limit one per household)
Eligibility: City of West Palm Beach residents
Distribution Method: First-come, first-served while supplies last
Delivery Method: Delivered on the resident's regularly scheduled solid waste service day
