BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese scrap metal prices were mostly flat on the ScrapMonster Price Index as of Monday, February 2, 2026. Only stainless steel prices recorded variation, with the prices of the commodity falling from the previous day’s prices.

- Aluminum: No variation
- Brass/Bronze: Flat trend
- Stainless Steel: Witnessed decline
- Steel: Remained stable
Copper Scrap Prices
The #1 Copper Bare Bright and #1 Copper Wire and Tubing witnessed no change in prices over the previous day.
The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also were flat on the Index.
#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices were unchanged. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery recorded no variation over the previous day.
Copper Transformer and Cu Yokes scrap prices held steady on the Index.
Cu/Al Radiator prices witnessed no fluctuation upon comparison with the prior day.
Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices were stable as of Monday, February 2, 2026.
Heater Cores prices were unchanged on the Index.
Also, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices recorded no change on the Index.
Aluminum Scrap Prices
6063 Extrusions witnessed no change over the previous day.
Aluminum Ingots prices also were flat on the Index.
