Graphic Packaging Declared Second Quarter 2025 Financial Results

The Q2 2025 net sales recorded marginal year-on-year decline from $2,237 million to $2,204 million.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Graphic Packaging Holding Company reported second quarter 2025 results.

The business reported $104 million in net income for the second quarter of 2025, or $0.34 per diluted share. In the second quarter of 2024, net income was $190 million, or $0.62 per diluted share. According to a news release, the adjusted net income for the quarter was $128 million, or $0.42 per diluted share, as opposed to $183 million, or $0.60 per diluted share, in the same quarter last year.

Net sales for the second quarter of 2025 decreased slightly from $2,237 million to $2,204 million on an annual basis. In 2025, EBITDA dropped 29% to $323 million in the second quarter. Compared to $402 million in the same quarter last year, the adjusted EBITDA was $336 million. In 2025 and 2024, the adjusted EBITDA margin for the second quarter was 15.3% and 18%, respectively.

Compared to $249 million in the same quarter last year, the capital expenditure for this quarter was $228 million. Graphic Packaging anticipates spending about $850 million on capital projects in 2025.

Graphic Packaging Holding declared that it is almost finished with its recycled paperboard project in Waco, Texas. As a result, the business anticipates a significant drop in capital expenditures in 2026. In the ensuing years, it anticipates making far more money than it needs internally.
