Majestic to Open New Wrexham Facility to Boost Metals Recycling Capacity

The facility will use proprietary technology to extract high-grade materials for clients in the precious metals, base metals and critical minerals sectors.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Majestic Corporation Plc (AQSE:MCJ) plans to open a new 50,000 sq ft processing plant in Wrexham as part of its strategy to expand UK operations and increase recycling capacity for precious and non-ferrous metals.

The company, which specialises in sustainable recycling and circular economy solutions, said the site would play a key role in lifting its annual processing volume to 100,000 tonnes by 2030.

The expansion is aimed at strengthening Majestic’s position in the UK and European supply chains for critical and recovered materials.

The facility will use proprietary technology to extract high-grade materials for clients in the precious metals, base metals and critical minerals sectors.

It is expected to support growing demand for recycling of e-waste, battery materials, IT infrastructure and solar technology across the region.

Majestic currently operates a 4,000 sq ft facility in Deeside, Wales, and said the Wrexham plant would significantly enhance its capabilities. Further details on the launch will be announced at a later date.

Chairman Peter Lai said: 'This facility marks a major step forward in our mission to enable a truly circular economy.

'By increasing our capacity to handle complex waste streams, we're not only meeting rising demand but also ensuring more of this critical processing happens locally, here in the UK.

'Ultimately, this means we're delivering more to our customers - with greater efficiency.'
