The first ore was introduced to the Goose Mine processing facilities on June 24, 2025.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Vancouver, B.C.- based B2Gold Corporation announced the first gold pour at its Goose Mine, located in southwestern Nunavut, Canada, approximately 520 km northeast of Yellowknife. The commencement of gold production at the Goose Mine marks an exciting step in B2Gold’s history.

'I am happy to announce the first gold pour, which is a true milestone for its staff and partners who have worked tirelessly to reach this achievement,' said Clive Johnson, President & CEO of B2Gold. He noted that this will improve the quality of the company's current worldwide operational portfolio and help it diversify its activities even further.

On June 24, 2025, the first ore was delivered to the Goose Mine processing facilities. As anticipated, the mill has operated continuously during the first phase at about 50% of nameplate capacity. The business will now concentrate on maintaining consistent operations and soon raising its throughput to reach full design capacity. In the third quarter of 2025, it anticipates ramping up to commercial manufacturing.

In order to ensure the growth of a successful gold mining operation at the Goose Mine, the firm recognized the Kitikmeot Inuit Association (KIA), its partner, for their work over the previous few years.
