IAMGOLD Cote Gold Mine Achieved Nameplate Throughput

The company expressed confidence in its ability to meet the previously declared annual production forecast of 360,000 to 400,000 ounces.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Toronto, Ontario-based IAMGOLD Corporation announced that its Cote Gold Mine has reached a major milestone with its processing plant operating at the nameplate capacity of 36,000 tons per day (tpd) on average for more than thirty consecutive days.

The milestone was achieved nearly 15 months after pouring its first gold. The mine had made its first gold pour in April last year. Subsequently, the mine achieved commercial production in August 2024.

The Cote Gold Mine is an open-pit mine located approximately 125 kilometres southwest of Timmins, Ontario.
