International Paper Honored as One of the 2025 World’s Most Ethical Companies
In total, 136 entities, spanning 19 countries and 44 industries, were recognized in 2025.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): International Paper (IP), a sustainable packaging solutions firm situated in Memphis, Tennessee, has been recognized by Ethisphere as one of the 2025 World's Most Ethical Companies. The company has been awarded the esteemed honor for the nineteenth time.
In the Forestry, Packaging & Paper sector, IP is one of just two recipients this year; the other is Weyerhaeuser Company. In 2025, a total of 136 entities from 44 industry and 19 countries were honoured.
Being recognized as one of the 2025 World's Most Ethical Companies 19 times is a credit to the team's diligence and hard work, said Andy Silvernail, Chairman and CEO of International Paper. He went on to say that its goal of making the world safer and more productive is centered on ethics. The success of the business, on the other hand, is based on responsible choices and actions, according to Joseph Saab, Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary, International Paper.
Ethisphere's Executive Chair and Chief Strategy Officer, Erica Salmon Byrne, commended the company on being named one of the World's Most Ethical Companies. The recognition shows how committed the corporation is to promoting corporate ethics.
