Crews Battle Semi-Truck Fire at Neblock Scrap Metal Recycling in Rockford
Neblock, Inc. is a recycling center and scrap metal dealer that has been in business in Rockford for more than 30 years.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Firefighters are battling a semi-truck fire inside Neblock, Inc. after flames broke out early Tuesday morning.
Rockford Fire Department crews arrived on scene at 1001 S. Pierpont Ave. around 6:30 a.m. RFD confirmed that a semi-truck did catch on fire inside the facility. No one was inside and no injuries have been reported. Investigators are still looking into how the fire started.
