Crews Respond to Fire at Scrap Metal Dealer in Holly Hill
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, and the extent of any potential damages is unknown.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Several units with the Orangeburg County Fire District (OCFD) responded to a fire at a scrap metal dealer near Holly Hill Sunday night.
Orangeburg County Emergency Management Director Billy Staley said the fire occurred at Don’s Car Crushing on White Sands Road.
OCFD Director Teddy Wolfe said the fire department was toned at 5:25 p.m. He added no road closures have been enacted due to the fire, and no injuries have been reported thus far.
