14th August, 2024: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Dropped on Index
The price of 304 SS Turning saw no change on Index.
BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese scrap metal prices mostly remained unchanged on ScrapMonster Price Index as on August 14th, Wednesday. Steel and Aluminum scrap prices remained unchanged over the previous day. Copper and Stainless Steel scrap prices recorded decline. Brass/Bronze scrap prices witnessed no change from the previous day.
Copper Scrap Prices
The #1 Copper Bare Bright prices dipped by CNY 200 per MT over the previous day.
#1 Copper Wire and Tubing too saw price decline of CNY 200 per MT each.
The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also decreased by CNY 200 per MT.
#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices inched lower by CNY 100 per MT on Index. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices too were down by CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.
Copper Transformer and Cu Yokes scrap prices registered no change over the prior day.
Cu/Al Radiator prices were down by CNY 50 per MT on Index.
Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices recorded no variation on Wednesday, August 14th, 2024.
Heater Cores prices declined by CNY 50 per MT over the prior day.
Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices were flat on Index.
Aluminum Scrap Prices
6063 Extrusions witnessed no change in prices over the previous day.
Aluminum Ingots too remained unchanged.
The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers saw no variation.
E.C Aluminum Wire prices remained unmoved.
Old Cast prices too were flat on 14th August, 2024.
The prices of Old Sheets and UBC held steady on Index.
Zorba 90% INF prices saw no change from the previous day.
Steel Scrap Prices
#1 HMS prices held steady on 14th August, 2024.
Cast Iron Scrap reported no change in prices.
Stainless Steel Scrap Prices
201 SS prices were unchanged on Index.
304 SS Solid prices too remained flat over the previous day.
The price of 304 SS Turning saw no change on Index.
309 SS and 316 SS prices dipped by CNY 50 per MT when compared with the prior day.
310 SS Solid scrap prices were down by CNY 50 per MT on August 14th, 2024.
Shred SS prices too saw no variation in prices over the day.
Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices
The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China posted no variation on Index.
Brass Radiator scrap prices were flat on August 14th, 2024.
Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too held steady on Index.
