Fire Crews Tackle Four-Alarm Blaze at Northwest Portland Metal Recycling Plant
Officials urge drivers to avoid the area and to expect road closures near the fire.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Portland Fire and Rescue crews are working to extinguish a four-alarm fire in Northwest Portland.
According to a social media post from Portland Fire and Rescue, the fire is at a metal recycling facility with a fire in the scrap pile.
Officials urge drivers to avoid the area and to expect road closures near the fire.
Fire crews say they plan on being out the aerial ladder pips to aid in extinguishing the fire.
