City of Clinton Hosting Electronic Recycling Event
The collection event will be open rain or shine.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The City of Clinton is collaborating with a computer recycling organization to offer the community a chance to recycle their electronics.
The city and Midwest Computer Recycling will be hosting a collection event for unwanted electronics that will be recycled into new electronics. It will take place Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. behind Sorrento’s Pizza at 101 East Washington Street.
A wide range of items can be dropped off at the event, including computers, tablets, printers, circuit boards, scanners, hard drives, cables and wires, keyboards, TVs, CRT monitors, stereos, VCRs and DVDs, power tools, appliances, gaming systems, cameras, exercise equipment, cell and office phones and more.
Some items will require a payment to drop off. TVs will cost $20 each, CRT Monitors will cost $10 each and microwaves and exercise equipment will cost $5 each. Organizers will only accept cash or a check.
