ALUPRO Heralds New Educational Campaign to Boost Recycling
The campaign comprises a series of fact-filled animations, which presents numerous practical challenges.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The Aluminum Packaging Recycling Organization (Alupro) announced launch of a new educational campaign, aimed at helping KS3 students to improve their knowledge about recycling.
The new campaign titled “Bin-fluencers” will was launched on March 7th at schools across the UK and Ireland. It brings resource efficiency into the classroom in a fun and engaging manner. The student participants could explore the benefits of recycling and the unique properties of packaging materials.

The campaign comprises a series of fact-filled animations, which presents numerous practical challenges. The students could download supporting teaching notes, curriculum links, quiz questions and challenge sheets from https://learningaluminium.co.uk/. After watching the animations, students are required to create their own influencer-inspired video, detailing what they have learned from the campaign resources. The school that comes up with the most creative entry will be awarded an iPad and £500 worth vouchers.
Tom Giddings, General manager, Alupro noted that Bin-influencers is the latest in the series of educational initiatives designed by the organization to make recycling more appealing to primary and secondary school pupils. Alupro believes that inspiring the next generation will help to drive ever-increasing recycling rates.
