SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): US LBM announced expansion of its Texas footprints with the acquisition of family-owned Oldham Lumber Company- a leading provider of lumber, plywood, engineered wood and framing materials to residential builders and commercial contractors in North Texas counties.
This is US LBM’s third acquisition in Texas during this year. Earlier during the year, it has acquired Higginbotham Brothers and J.P. Hart Lumber. The deal covers a 10 acre yard in Dallas and a 12 acre yard northeast of Dallas in Melissa, Texas, which will henceforth be part of US LBM network. The exclusive adviser to Oldham Lumber on the transaction was Building Industry Advisers.
L.T. Gibson, President and CEO, US LBM welcomed the Oldham team to the company. The expansion will help strengthen its position in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex- one of the nation’s fast-expanding metro regions. This, along with other recent acquisitions, will provide a strong network of brands to serve a wide range of customers, he added.
Meantime, Olham Lumber noted that it is pleased to find a partner in US LBM that recognizes the importance of establishing strong relationships and creating a high-level of trust with our customers. The partnership will continue to thrive and prosper together, it added.
