JW Aluminum Received GreenCircle Certification for Russellville, Arkansas Plant

The data, in the form of a nutrition label, serves as an easy-to-understand tool for evaluating the company’s environmental status and progress.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): JW Aluminum announced that its Russellville, Arkansas manufacturing facility received GreenCircle’s Certified Environmental Facts multi-attribute certification. It is the first aluminum rolled products supplier to achieve the prestigious certification.

The Certified Environmental Facts label provide externally verified environmental data to customers, including details pertaining to recycled content composition, carbon footprint and energy reduction, and waste diversion, specific to alloy products manufactured by it, the company press release said. The data, in the form of a nutrition label, serves as an easy-to-understand tool for evaluating the company’s environmental status and progress.

The company had partnered with GreenCircle earlier this year and has been subject to rigorous internal and external data verification audits.

Ryan Roush, Chief Commercial Officer at JW Aluminum commented that obtaining the unique, user-friendly Certified Environmental Facts labels is a natural extension of its commitment to monitoring and reducing its environmental impact. Meantime, Tad Radzinski, Certification Officer at GreenCircle commended JW Aluminum for achieving the certification for their aluminum rolled products from the facility.
