Ingram Micro Opened New Mexico City ITAD Facility

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Irvine, California-headquartered Ingram Micro Commerce & Lifecycle Services announced opening of a new ITAD facility in New Mexico City, as part of its expansion of operations in the Latin American region. The new facility adds to the company’s existing ITAD operations in the region and would be the 21st facility across the world.

In a new release, the company noted that the expansion is mainly on the back of projected strong demand for regional demand for refurbished assets. It must be noted that the IT spending within Mexico had touched $24 billion in 2019.

Todd Zegers, vice president ITAD and reverse logistics at Ingram Micro Commerce & Lifecycle Services stated that the expansion of its industry-leading ITAD services in Mexico would contribute significantly to the growth of its global client base. The company is looking forward to deliver increasingly important ITAD services and other supply chain solutions to the rapidly developing market, he added.

The company, in its press release, noted that the new Mexico City processing facility is open and fully operational.

Recently, Ingram had expanded its global relationship with Jabra, by opening trading across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, and Pakistan.
