New Jersey E-Recycler Joins TERRA ‘Done With IT’ Program

NewTech’s membership will ensure sustainable recycling solutions to over 44.5 million residents in 129 counties.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Somerset, New Jersey-based NewTech Corporate Electronics Recycling has joined the ‘Done with IT’ mail-in recycling program by Nashville, Tennessee-headquartered The Electronics Reuse & Recycling Alliance (TERRA).

In a news release, TERRA noted that NewTech’s membership will ensure sustainable recycling solutions to over 44.5 million residents in 129 counties through Newtech’s R2 certified recycling facility in Somerset. In addition, the company will join hands with TERRA in creating general awareness among people on the environmental and health impacts caused by unsafe disposal of used electronics.

The addition of NewTech has expanded the ‘Done with IT’ program to 25 states, offering services to more than 111 million people altogether.

Steven Napoli, president and CEO of TERRA highlighted the need to drive end-of-life electronics to certified recycling facilities, which adhere to rigorous standards and compliance audits. He also urged certified recycling partners to become part of its rapid expansion plans.
