River Metals Completes Strategic Acquisition of ISA Assets
Both the companies had signed a definitive agreement in August this year.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Kentucky-based River Metals Recycling (RMR) announced that it has finalized the acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Louisville-headquartered Industrial Services of America Inc. (ISA). Both the companies had signed a definitive agreement in August this year. The transaction is valued at $23 million.
The company press release by The David J. Joseph Co. (DJJ), RMR’s parent company, noted that it intends to hire substantially all of ISA’s employees upon closing of the transaction. The acquisition is in line with the strategy to expand its regional recycling platform. Further, it will help the company support its expanding ferrous and nonferrous customer base in the region. The merger of ISA’s business with RMR is expected to lead to the best outcome for shareholders, employees, suppliers and customers.
