6th January, 2017: Chinese copper scrap prices plunged on Index

Chinese copper scrap prices dropped sharply on Scrap Monster Price Index on January 6th, 2017.

BEIJING (Scrap Monster):  The Chinese copper scrap prices witnessed sharp downfall on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on Friday, January 6^th.

#1 Copper Bare Bright prices were down by CNY 400 per MT over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing and #2 Copper Wire and Tubing too tumbled by CNY 400 per MT each.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery was down CNY 150 per MT to CNY 27,550 per MT. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery fell CNY 100 per MT to touch CNY 23,400 per MT.

Copper Transformer scrap prices dropped by CNY 100 per MT over the previous day. The price of Cu Yokes too has declined by CNY100 per MT.

Cu/Al Radiator scrap prices witnessed decline of CNY 100 per MT.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices declined by CNY 100 per MT.

Heater Cores were down by CNY 150 per MT on Friday, January 6^th.

Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices remained unchanged over the previous day.
