Russian scrap exports declined 10% year-on-year to 450,000 metric tons (mt) in May, but advanced 2% month-on-month, according to the country's customs statistics.

MOSCOW (Scrap Monster): Russian scrap exports declined 10% year-on-year to 450,000 metric tons (mt) in May, but advanced 2% month-on-month, according to the country's customs statistics.

According to the data, in the January-May period of the current year, Russian exports of scrap decreased by 6.4% year-on-year to 1.83 million mt, including 732,000 mt to Turkey, 451,700 mt to Belarus and 183,000 mt to South Korea.
