North American copper scrap prices edged higher on Sep 2nd, 2015
North American copper scrap prices witnessed marginal rise on Index as on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2015.
TORONTO (Scrap Monster): The North American copper scrap prices climbed higher marginally on ScrapMonster Price Index as on September 2nd, Wednesday.
The price of Alternator scrap remained unchanged over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing rose by $0.03 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also up by $0.03 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright went higher by $ 0.03 per Lb.
The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery edged higher by $0.01 per Lb over the previous day. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices held steady over the previous day. #3 Copper-Light copper prices went higher by $0.03 per Lb to reach $1.85 per Lb.
The prices of Copper Radiator scrap saw slight uptick of $0.01 per Lb from previous day’s levels. Copper Transformer Scrap and Cu Yokes prices witnessed no change. Cu/Al Radiator Ends prices too remained unchanged from the previous day.
Cu/Al Radiator prices increased marginally by $0.01 per Lb.
Also, the prices Cu/Al Radiators/Fe increased by $0.01 per Lb on September 2nd, 2015.
Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices remained flat.
Heater cores prices edged higher by $0.01 per Lb.
The price of Romex Wire witnessed an increase of $0.02 per Lb.
The prices of Scrap Electric Motors, Sealed units, Starters and Xmas Lights maintained previous day price levels.
