Zijin Mining Put Ultra Large Zinc Polymetallic Mine in Russia into Operation

Zijin Mining has commissioned the zinc and lead polymetallic mine in Russia.The mine also contains gold and silver reserves.

BEIJING (SMM): Zijin Mining’s ultra large zinc and lead polymetallic mine located in Russia came online June 25, mining120.com reports.

The high-quality ultra large zinc and lead polymetallic mine has about 1.60 million tonnes of metal reserves, including 1.30 million tonnes of zinc reserves, 200,000 tonnes of lead, and 80,000 tonnes of copper.

It also contains gold and silver reserves.

Ore processing capacity designed is 1 million tpy.
