Market Update- 15th April, 2015: Chinese copper scrap prices witness marginal rise
The Chinese copper scrap prices ended marginally higher on Wednesday, April 15th
BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese copper scrap prices ended marginally higher on ScrapMonster Price Index as on Wednesday, April 15th.
The #1 Copper Bare Bright and #1 Copper Wire and Tubing saw price rise of CNY 50 per MT each.
The price of #2 Copper W ire and Tubing also increased by CNY 50 per MT.
#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices held steady. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery too remained unchanged over the previous day.
Copper Transformer scrap prices saw no variation in prices over the previous day. No price-change was witnessed in Cu Yokes.
Cu/Al Radiator prices remained flat at CNY 25,800 per MT.
Harness Wire 35% Recovery maintained previous day’s levels on Wednesday, April 15th.
Heater Cores prices remained flat.
Also, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices remained unchanged.
