Weak trends in India copper scrap prices

Scrap metal prices in Indian markets have witnessed a downward trend on weak demand and tracking base metals prices in LME and MCX, trade sources said.

MUMBAI (Scrap Monster): Weak trends were visible in copper scrap prices in Indian markets on Saturday due to weak demand and taking cues from weaker London Metal Exchange (LME) and India's Multi-Commodity Exchange for base metals. Copper cable scrap prices fell from Rs 424,000 to Rs 421,000 per tonne while copper wire bars fell from Rs 452,000 to Rs 449,000 per tonne.
