Chinese Scrap Market Update- 30th July, 2014: Prices fell sharply

The Chinese scrap prices dropped sharply on Wednesday, July 30th

BEIJING (Scrap Monster):  The Chinese scrap prices dropped sharply on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on Wednesday, July 30^th.

#1 HMS prices remained unchanged from the prices a day before. The price of #1 Bare Bright Copper Wire inched lower by CNY 300 per MT. #1 Copper and #2 Copper prices too declined by CNY 300 each per MT.

201 Stainless Steel prices remained flat over the day. The prices of 304 Stainless Steel and 316 Stainless Steel prices saw no variation in prices.

Al/Cu Radiator scrap prices declined CNY 100 per MT over the previous day. Cast Iron Scrap prices saw no change in price as on 30^th July, 2014.

Nickel scrap prices declined by CNY 200 per MT.  Nickel scrap traded at CNY 129,300 per MT.

Shred Stainless Steel prices remained flat over the day.

Shred Zinc prices tumbled by CNY 500 per MT to touch CNY 12,200 per MT.

Soft Lead prices too fell by CNY 100 per MT.
