25th July, 2014: Chinese scrap prices surged higher
The Chinese scrap prices surged higher on Friday, July 25th
BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese scrap prices surged higher on ScrapMonster Price Index as on Friday, July 25th.
#1 HMS prices remained unchanged from the prices a day before. The price of #1 Bare Bright Copper Wire increased by CNY 100 per MT. #1 Copper and #2 Copper prices too increased by CNY 100 per MT over the previous day.
The prices of 201 Stainless Steel remained flat over the day. 304 Stainless Steel prices too remained unchanged from the previous day. 316 Stainless Steel prices increased by CNY 50 per MT to reach CNY 14,200 per MT. Al/Cu Radiator scrap prices remained flat at CNY 27,050 per MT over the day.
Cast Iron Scrap witnessed no change in price as on 25th July.
Nickel scrap prices advanced by CNY 1,000 per MT, to touch CNY 129,800 per MT.
Shred Stainless Steel price remained unchanged.
Shred Zinc prices advanced by CNY 100 per MT.
Soft Lead prices too increased by CNY 100 per MT over the previous day.
