New World Resources updates average coking coal prices at EUR85/t for Q3 2014

New World Resources and New World Resources N.V said that they have reached an agreement with customers for the coking coal prices for Q3 2014.

AMSTERDAM (Scrap Monster): New World Resources and New World Resources N.V said that they have reached an agreement with customers for the coking coal prices for Q3 2014.

The Company continues to target coking coal production and sales of the range 9 to 9.5 million tonnes, in which 55-60 pct of coal in the sales mix.

The agreed average price of deliveries of coking coal in the Q3 of 2014 is EUR 85 a tonne and it is 1 percent increase when compared to the realized price of second quarter of 2014.

This average price of coking coal is based on an expectation that the sales of the coal for the Q3 2014 will be divided into nearly 45 pct hard coking coal, 42 pct semi-soft coking coal and 13 pct PCI coking coal.
An average price of about EUR 54 a tonne has been agreed for 2014 thermal coal production.
