India hikes Ferro-silicon manganese export prices for April

India's manufacturers have decided to increase the export prices of Ferro-silicon manganese by US$25 to US$45/ton in April

MUMBAI (Scrap Monster): India’s manufacturers have decided to increase the export prices of Ferro-silicon manganese by US$25 to US$45/ton in April, driven by the increased electricity rates in some of the producing states.


The export prices of Ferro-silicon manganese for Japan have soared to US$1,520 to US$1,540/ton CIF, up by US$50/ton.

At the same time, some Indian makers said that the ocean freight rates might increase by US$10 to US$15/ton hence, they have to adjust the export prices, considering to the rising costs, Yieh Corp reported.
