Delta Scrap Vehicle Removal.

In the late 70s when I was in elementary school my dad owned Moffat’s Auto Wreckers on Mitchell Island in Richmond. All through the early 80s while attending high school, I worked part time at Acme Auto Wreckers which was also on Mitchell Island. After graduating from high school in 1984 I went onto an automotive apprenticeship in Ladner and in 1986 I started to recycle scrap vehicles as a hobby. In 1988 I received my Auto Mechanics Ticket and in 1991 I incorporated my hobby into a part-time business.In 2004 I left Auto Mechanics and switched to Heavy Duty in 2007, receiving my Heavy Duty Mechanics Ticket. I also started as a Longshoreman at Local 502 working as a mechanic out at Deltaport. In 2011 I was asked to be an instructor at BCIT for the Heavy Duty Trade which I still am doing. Through all of this, I have maintained my vehicle recycling business that started out as a hobby.
