Nace in 1994, picking up the baton from the family business Hierros Udala. Hirumet's activity focuses on the classification, recycling and valuation of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap. We carry out the best selection, preparation and sale of unalloyed, dense, clean and analytically contrasted quality scrap. We have a young workforce and facilities equipped with the most modern machinery, which has allowed us to position ourselves, in a few years, among the leaders of the sector in the Basque Country. The acquisition of the METSO LINDEMANN EC 1648-15 machine (double piston, 10,000 mm bed and 1,500 mm opening) makes the Hirumet group a benchmark in the international market, cutting high-density scrap.
