Bee Green Recycling & Supply is a hive of activity helping you succeed.  If you need to recycle construction debris, green waste, inert debris (such as concrete, dirt, asphalt shingles), or if you need landscape materials to beautify a home or project, we are here to help you succeed. 

We have 3 locations near the Oakland Coliseum to meet each of those needs.  We have the oldest and largest permitted C&D facility in Oakland (725 Independent Road) where we take all non-hazardous construction and demolition debris.  We have an inert debris processing operation and a chipping and grinding operation (5900 Coliseum Way) where we take concrete, dirt, asphalt shingles, green waste, and clean wood; and we have our landscape material supply yard (725 Julie Ann Way) where we stock a wide variety of materials and tools for most landscape projects.

History :

Bee Green Recycling & Supply is a family owned and operated company founded around the idea of “helping you succeed”. 

Our founders, Joshua & Deborah Fookes, started the company as Commercial Waste & Recycling, LLC in 2009 with the goal of helping our customers succeed in recycling their green waste and construction and demolition debris.  This once small operation has become the largest C&D processing facility permitted in the City of Oakland. With our growth we founded Asphalt Shingle Recyclers, LLC in 2012 to specifically process inert debris and asphalt shingles.  Later in 2012 we started our landscape supply business under the dba Oakland Firewood & Landscape Supply.

This part of our business serves to help our customers succeed in their landscaping projects.  We were the first landscape supply company in Oakland to offer online ordering and delivery.  In early 2016 we expanded our capacity by establishing Green Waste Recycling on our newly acquired property on Julie Ann Way.  We also opened a showroom and expanded product offerings at our landscape supply yard.

After finalizing the purchase of our business properties, the founders decided to merge the different operating companies and their respective dba’s into a single unifying company identity.  Thus, in January , 2017 we began doing business at all of our locations under the dba Bee Green Recycling & Supply.  In March of 2018, the name of Commercial Waste & Recycling, LLC was formally changed to Bee Green Recycling & Supply, LLC.
