Holmes County residents may drop off the following items free of charge: cardboard; plastic soda bottles; auto batteries; aluminum cans; steel cans; white office paper; newspapers; magazines; books; waste tires (during tire amnesty); and old appliances, tin, and metal. Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The recycling center is located behind Holmes County Correctional Institute in Bonifay, Florida.
