Troiano Waste Services, Inc. is a family owned and operated business. The Troiano’s are native to the Portland area. Michael and Filomena started the business in 1976 with one truck as M S Troiano & Sons. Their sons, Michael- Paul and T.J. grew up in the business and continue to work for the company. The one truck has grown into a fleet of twenty trucks. Today, Troiano Waste Services is the largest independent waste hauling service in Northern New England.

For nearly 40 years, the Troiano family has provided friendly, local and personal waste removal services for the greater Portland, Maine area and Northern New England. In fact, we are the largest independent waste hauling service in Northern New England. We know the area, we grew up in the area and we grew our business in the area. TRANSFER STATION

Located at our state-of-the-art facility in South Portland, Maine, our Transfer Station is where all of the solid waste we collect is sorted and processed.At Troiano Waste Services, we believe it’s our duty to do our part to help the environment. We carefully sort through all solid, non-hazardous waste to separate out recyclables, such as metal, wood, concrete and gravel, so we can transfer these reusable materials to the appropriate recycling center. Then, we take what’s left of the non-recyclable waste and haul it away for responsible disposal.

We offer all of our customers the opportunity to take advantage of our Transfer Station. Load up the truck and bring your solid, non-hazardous waste our way.
