Excell Battery Recycling Policy

Excell provides a full recycling service upon request, to its registered customers for all battery products manufactured and sold by Excell.Excell utilizes authorized transportation agents to ship recycled spent batteries to registered and authorized agencies where recycling and destruction takes place in an approved environmentally responsible manner.

Nickle Metal Hydride

p8Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) Batteries offer many of the advantages of Ni-Cad batteries like low cost and a variety of sizes without the disadvantages of environmental concerns. Many Ni-Cad battery applications have transitioned over to NiMH and seen the benefit of capacity increased to almost double.NiMH cells have lower cycle life and require a more sophisticated charge control than Ni-Cads. They are, however, ideally suited for many hand-held and portable applications.

Sealed Lead Acid

Lead acid technology is more than 100 years old but continues to be widely used where size and weight are not key factors. Sealed Lead Acid is often used in power back-up or stationary devices as well as electric wheelchairs and other similar products. Sealed Lead acid batteries are available in an enormous array of sizes and shapes including single 2 volt cells.

Alkaline

Alkaline cells are a very cost-effective solution for many different applications. Alkaline cells are readily available and can be transported very easily. Excell uses Alkaline cells in a number of non-rechargeable applications that require a good blend of performance with low cost.

Nickel Cadmium

Since the 1960s, Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cad) batteries have been the most widely used battery chemistry for portable applications. Their combination of ruggedness, low cost and size variety has been unbeatable.
