I.T. Refresh

I.T. Refresh opened its doors in Fort Collins, Colorado in May of 2013. It is a division of Onsite Electronics Recycling, an e-waste recycling company located in Stockton, California. The facilities in California are R2 and e-Steward Certified. The Fort Collins location is scheduled to be certified by September 1, 2013.I.T. Refresh provides e-waste recycling solutions to public and private solid waste facilities, municipalities, businesses, schools, non-profit organizations and residents. This includes transportation and recycling services, packaging, collection events and fundraisers.

Our Story

I.T. Refresh opened its doors in Fort Collins, Colorado in June of 2013. It is a division of Onsite Electronics Recycling, an e-waste recycling company located in Stockton, California. The all facilities under Onsite Electronics, including I.T. Refresh, are e-Stewards, R2, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 14001 certified. The Fort Collins community graciously accepted I.T. Refresh into the community with an official ribbon cutting on September 20, 2013.

EH&S Corporate Policy

• Enhancing and improving our EH&S Management System to ensure that it is appropriate and effective for helping us to achieve our environmental, health and safety objectives and targets
• Continually improve the environmental, health and safety performance and prevent pollution, injury, and ill health in our own operations and those of our downstream vendors
• Comply with applicable environmental, health and safety laws, regulations, codes of practice, and other requirements at a minimum
• Maintain accountability for all Hazardous e-Waste throughout the Recycling Chain to final disposition
• Prohibit exports of Hazardous Electronic Waste throughout the recycling chain which violate the Basel Convention on the Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and Their Disposal
• Ensuring that our operations and those of our downstream vendors are socially responsible and provide for fair treatment of employees and prevent the use of child and prison labor
• Making customers aware of the security issues and addressing data security and privacy requirements throughout our recycling chain
• Prioritizing a hierarchy of disposition starting with direct re-use, refurbishment for reuse, material recovery, followed by disposal

Refurbishing

Whenever possible, I.T. Refresh repairs and reuses functioning electronics. Non-functioning electronics are dismantled and recycled. Both refurbishing and dismantling takes place at I.T. Refresh’s Fort Collins facility.Refurbished electronics are then resold at three times scrap value. Items available for purchase include, but are not limited to: computer systems, monitors, printers, scanners, floor model copiers, laptops, computer accessories, Blu-Ray players, and more.Items are sold storefront at I.T. Refresh’s facility in Fort Collins (308 Commerce Dr. Unit B) or on eBay. I.T. Refresh also donates refurbished computers to local schools and non-profits. Since opening in June 2013, I.T.
