The eWorks Mission eWorks Electronics Services Inc.(eWorks) was established in 2009 to create employment opportunities for people with disabilities. eWorks achieves this mission by providing competitive recycling, refurbishment and resale services of all types of office and industrial technologies and consumer electronics.This includes items such as computers, tablets, servers, monitors and LCD’s, scanners, copiers and network equipment, power supplies, TVs, stereos, cell phones and household appliances. Today the eWorks program provides electronics recycling and refurbishment services for local communities and for large global corporations across the US. Our process uses the highest industry certifications in safety and security.eWorks Electronics Services Inc. achieves this mission not only through its own resources but through the resources of its partners. eWorks has developed a national network of certified eWorks locations across the United States. The network is made up of agencies that that provide a variety of premium services to assist people with disabilities.Certified eWorks partner agencies have successfully completed the eWorks certified compliance process for providing electronics recycling services. eWorks provides secure and environmentally safe electronics recycling and remarketing services. Established in 2009 eWorks provides Assets disposition services for global and national corporations, municipalities, schools and local residents. eWorks offers state of the art collection, data destruction, tracking, and reuse solutions as well as a diverse labor force, where more than 60% of the workers have a developmental disability. eWorks Services We provide convenient and secure collection and transport of electronic assets with easy online scheduling for pick-ups, as well as product resale services, donation programs, shredding services, and extensive reporting. Innovative CollectionseWorks e-Cart is a portable, secure, and efficient e-waste collection service helping “green building” efforts by collecting e-waste in logistically challenged sites like high-rise office buildings in metropolitan areas. What We ProcessThe list of electronic devices grows every day. eWorks recycles a large variety of electronic equipment from computers, printers, print cartridges, and televisions to cable equipment, phones, batteries and more. Benefits of Hiring eWorksAll equipment is processed in accordance with today’s strict electronic waste standards.The eWorks facility has 24 hour camera surveillance and metal detectors to monitor anyone going in and out of the work area.eWorks offers clients full service processing locations throughout the United States.Partner Agencies have a long history of providing great services for the disabled.eWorks is a not-for-profit so all revenue received will go to support workers with Developmental Disabilities.Product Resale Services Audited to determine whether they are functional or non-functional. If it is functional an evaluation is done to determine it’s current market value in the secondary market or whether it is appropriate for donation. If feasible for resale or donation in part or whole form it is securely stored in the facility until it delivered for Reuse. If it has no value, it is sent to the Recycling station to be dismantled. Advanced Systems The most important component of an electronics recycling solution is the audit and tracking of the material. The e-Viridis system was designed from the ground up to manage client assets from the point they are received to the point of final processing.It provides clients with online scheduling of pickups, remote access to reporting, and integration to corporate asset management systems.
