We are open for parts from:8 to 5 Monday thru Friday and 8 - 12 on Saturday. We take scrap from 8 to 4:30 Monday thru Friday and 8 to 11:30 on Saturday. What is Ferrous scrap? There are three types of ferrous scrap.Heavy Metal Heavy metal is at least 1/4 inch in thickness. Most of this type comes from demolished buildings, truck frames, and heavy duty springs.Appliance Tin Also known as Major Appliances, White Goods, or Shred. Any domestic or commercial device; including, but not limited to, a washing machine, clothes dryer, water heater, dehumidifier, conventional oven, microwave oven, stove, refrigerator, freezer, air conditioner, trash compactor, or residential furnace.Whole Cars We accept whole cars. The title must be surrendered at the time of sale. The gas tank should be emptied by putting a hole in the tank and draining the old gas out.Non ferrous scrap is scrap that does not contain iron. Examples: Copper, aluminum, brass, and lead. Any non ferrous materials are non magnetic. If a magnet sticks to it, it is a type of ferrous material.
