The company’s Goodwood facility houses its head office and is also one of two places customers bring their waste.Company founder Dan Chassie added the tire recycling facility to the site in 2010.In 2000, the company expanded with the addition of the Dartmouth transfer station on Ross Road. Asphalt shinglesTwo products come from recycled asphalt shingles. The asphalt sand is used to make hot mix Asphalt Pavement used by Ocean Contractors . This innovative recycled product was used on over 90% of the road system in Dartmouth Crossing
Asphalt PaperAsphalt shingle flake is produced from asphalt paper and is used by LaFarge Cement to replace coal. The asphalt shingle flake burns more cleanly than coal, without the harmful emissions.
GyprockClean gyprock is sorted, de-papered and processed to desired specifications, which gets trucked to in McAdam New Brunswick to make new wallboard at the Certainteed Gyproc Plant
