United Plastic Recycling, Inc. was established in 1991 to provide full service thermoplastic recycling. This makes our company a pioneer in this now very popular industry. Over the years, plastic recycling has become more commonplace and a popular concept worldwide for many reasons. We have adapted to new markets and usages in plastics recycling in the past 20 years, but our core business has always been to purchase scrap plastic in various forms and process it so that it can be used again.

Our scrap vendors rely on us to provide a continuous outlet with competitive pricing. Our customers rely on us to supply them with a clean, economical recycled feedstock suitable for a variety of end uses.UPR’s processing capabilities enable us to handle and recycle plastic scrap in various forms – such as bales, rolls, bulky parts, purges, regrinds, ect. We have over 600,000 square feet of warehouse space containing state of the art pelletizing lines, grinders, blenders and shredders along with a resin washing system.

We also offer many corresponding services such as transportation, domestic, and export brokerage, toll grinding, and pelletizing. With our newly expanded capabilities, we can offer plastics recycling to a broad range of industries. We also have a processing facility in Monterrey, Mexico, to widen our service area.

We purchase and sell a wide variety of Plastics .Within each product category, we may offer various grades including injection, extrusion, blow molding, roto-molding, etc. 

Logistics

United Plastic Recycling has a fleet of company drivers ranging from over the road drivers to local drivers. This allows us to offer unique services such as dropped trailers, same day service, and backhaul options from companies who are both customers and suppliers.

We are accustomed to providing whatever our customer needs whether it is, scale tickets, specialized labels, packing lists or product spec sheets for each load, we can make it happen!

Each warehouse is appointment-based with April Walker as the central contact. Our shipping and receiving hours range from 7:30 am until 2:00 pm with time slots at – 7:30, 9:00, 10:30, 12:30, and 2:00.
