Regional Materials Recovery, Inc. was started in the mid-1920's as N.C. Hide and Fur Company. In 1988, we changed our name to Rocky Mount Recyclers, Inc. to reflect a more accurate image of the type of services we had begun to provide. Since then, RMR has expanded its operation and offers many different services to both the service industry, as well as to the public. As wholesale scrap buyers and sellers, we currently do business with customers ranging from large manufacturing plants to local scrap collectors. In the early part of 2011, RMR opened Fayetteville Metal Recyclers (FMR) in Fayetteville, NC to better serve its clients in the southern portions of North Carolina.
