Teets & Son Scrap

Teets scrap was founded in the 1960's by Richard Teeter. The company is located in the town of Enfield, part of Tompkins County Residence. In 2005 Richard Teeter Jr. reopened the business calling it Teets and Son Scrap Metal Recycling. Over the duration of the years Teets and Son has steadily grown making it a much larger business.

Truck scales with an outside indicator and printed tickets were completed in February, 2006. In 2011 a new 70 ft scale and business office building were finished which has given a larger increase of business. We also offer smaller scales inside our metal shop for the non-Ferrous metals. Reinvestment has been our main goal to increase efficiency and volume. We have continuously upgraded our equipment and facilities to help with services and the volume of the company. Teets & Son looks to be competitive with other yards by having competitive pricing and builing the business on trust and honesty to the public.

We are open to the general public as well as businesses facilities that may need our services. In addition, we are able to drop off roll off containers to houses, schools, shops, etc. for a much larger job.

For truck-size loads, we have a 70' truck scale for weigh-in and weigh-out with digital read outs on the way in and out. Large loads can be dumped in our open yard for on-site processing.
