R&R Auto & Metal Salvage is an industry leader in the salvage of automotive products, along with industrial, commercial and residential scrap services. RecyclingCurrent Operations: 1) R&R’s current focus is in the processing of metal recycled goods along with the recycling of automobiles for the used part market. 2) Recycling is done on a consumer and industrial level. Each lot of recyclable product is evaluated individually, (either on site or at consumer’s location), depending on the commodity and time to process, a charge or value is determined. 3) As for the auto parts; sales of new aftermarket and used parts, along with used batteries and tires, make up standard operations. 4) Some of the recycled items taken/purchased, but not limited to, are as follows: Aluminum cans and scrap, copper, brass, stainless steel, tin, steel, iron, junk cars/machinery/equipment, auto batteries, lead, electric motors, etc. History R&R (recycling and recovery) Auto & Metal Salvage was incorporated in December of 2005 by Marvin Karels, Jake Karels and Chris Bickmann. After negotiations with Gary Prieve, owner of Ollie & Son Auto Wrecking, a purchase was made on April 1st 2006 by the entity of R& R Auto & Metal Salvage. The salvage yard is located 1 mile east of Litchfield on US Highway 12 and has been an auto salvage yard since 1951. R&R roll-off service to accommodate industrial & commercial scrap accounts, along with farm and home site clean ups. There is no charge to use the rolloff service.
