The Metal Exchange Private Fleet, consisting of state of the art power units and over 250 specially designed trailers, is also available to service your transportation needs. Our trailer pool, comprised of High Side Open Tops, Low Side Open Tops, Van Trailers, and Dross Trailers, uniquely equips Metal Exchange to transport virtually all types of metals. The Fleet is also licensed to haul hazardous materials, such as dross and residues.

Metal Exchange Corporation has a team of specialists with the expertise to buy, sell, process and trade all forms of non-ferrous metal scrap and serve global scrap markets. We are in the market on a day to day basis, buying and selling non-ferrous metal scrap for our warehouses, our manufacturing operations, for third party consumption, and for import /export. We are consistent and ongoing market makers of all grades of non-ferrous metal scrap from our worldwide network of consumers and suppliers.

Utilizing an international network of trading offices and North American plants and warehouses, Metal Exchange buys, sells, trades and processes a wide range of aluminum scrap. Our scrap processing and warehouse locations enable us to respond to the industry’s need for processed, packaged, and segregated scrap.

Copper & Brass
With our worldwide network of suppliers, Metal Exchange is able to trade and process copper and brass scrap for a variety of consumers and producers, including brass mills, copper wire manufacturers, copper tube manufacturers, brass and rod mills, brass ingot makers, copper refineries, and foundries.
Our ability to supply all grades of copper and brass scrap has enabled us to become one of the largest domestic and international suppliers. We can tailor a scrap conversion to accommodate any consumer or producer of copper. Our Metal Recovery Systems (see separate tab under ‘Manufacturing’) facility processes copper and aluminum wire and aluminum/copper heat exchangers.

Metal Exchange is a daily market maker in most shapes of magnesium scrap, whether new production or post consumer. With underlying magnesium values consistently high, finding the most effective consumer for the scrap is essential. Metal Exchange Corporation operates a scrap processing facility located in Moulton, AL. This location was chosen based on proximity to consumers and the availability of raw materials. Our Moulton scrap facility is equipped with a full complement of processing equipment, including sorting belts, screens, shears, balers, and spectrometers. All of these are important tools in the segregation and packaging of non-ferrous scrap which allows us to upgrade the value of the material and meet our customers quality requirements.
