Six Recycling is a family-owned and operated company that was founded in 1990 by Norm and Joanne Six, their son Greg Six, and son-in-law Jeff Woofter. Six Recycling purchased all the assets of Berman Iron & Metal, which was owned by Barry Berman and Leonard Fineburgh. Berman Iron & Metal had been in business in the East Liverpool area for approximately 40 years.In 1996 Jeff Woofter left the company to take over his newly elected post as the Sheriff of Hancock County, West Virginia.  Since then, two other sons Frank and Ray, have joined the company as well as Greg's two children Greg II and Carlie.  Currently, there are 20 people employed by Six Recycling, 6 of which are Six's.

We have a cutting edge wire chopping machine that gives us the ability to separate even the finest copper wire from its insulation. We are one of only a few dozen recycling companies in the United States to be able to offer you the benefits of this technology, which allows us to pay you the highest available prices for copper wiring.

We will demolish your metal or partial metal structure
From agricultural structures on farms and ranches to industrial areas, warehouses, storage units, and commercial properties, we'll tear down the buildings and remove the materials. If you have a metal structure or a structure that is partially metal, we can take it take it down.

Whether you are a company that regularly produces scrap metal in routine scheduled maintenance or a farmer who is cleaning up old machinery on the farm, we can work with you. We can place a roll-off box on your site, when you get it filled, we will come pick it up and send a check for any qualified scrap.
