Tri-County Recycling Alliance is dedicated to recycling and waste reduction in Henderson, Union and Webster Counties in northwest Kentucky.We are an alliance formed and funded by the City of Henderson and the Counties of Henderson, Union and Webster. TRI-COUNTY RECYCLING ALLIANCE MISSION Through a progressive joint venture with our neighbors in northwest Kentucky, we are committed to improving the environmental well-being of our communities by initiating innovative education programs and facilities, maximizing waste reduction, increasing recycling and creating economic development opportunities. Items the Center WILL NOT ACCEPT No Plastic Containers: #3, #4, #5, #6, #7 Preparing Recyclable Items PLASTICLook on the bottom of plastic containers for the recycling triangle.Plastic containers are accepted if there is a #1 or a #2 inside the triangle and if the top opening is smaller than the base. Examples include milk, soda, water, detergent, shampoo, bleach and fabric softener containersPlease remove caps and rinse containers. GLASSRinse glass and remove lids from clear, brown and green food beverage jars andbottles. No need to remove labels. CARDBOARDPlease flatten cardboard and paperboard boxes. NEWSPAPER AND INSERTSSeparate from mixed and white paper. ALUMINUM AND METAL CANSPlease rinse. Compaction Centers For your convenience, we will accept Household Trash at our compaction centers.  We will also accept Sharps and Needles that have been placed in containers with lids.  We CANNOT accept Household Hazardous Waste; Insulation; Yard Waste, Tree Limbs or Grass; or Paint of any kind
